Lunch
It is ridiculous
 All the silly little cliques
 Everyone is against each other
 Nobody will chat or hover

 I sit with my group
We are not in the loop
 Of the “cool people”
But we don’t want to be

We are content with loving all
At our table there is no wall
 To hold back the new
Unlike the rest of this zoo

 We welcome everyone
 We thinks cliques are puns
And we laugh at them everyday
The ones who have lost their way

It is great at our table
 Where gossip is a fable
 The new people are welcome
And sure enough they do come

All we all want is to be accepted
And not have our words intercepted
By people who want to start problems
And won’t stop flapping their gums

Lunch is the best part of the day
And it is not because of the food okay?
I love lunch because I love my friends,
And they have my back till the end
