My Boyfriend Is Better Than Yours (Me and Jesus's Love Poem)
I see Him standing there waiting for me
 Flowers in His hand

He reaches His hand out to me
 And I forget my blame

 He says He wants me,
 Despite my shame

He says He loves me and
 He's calling me by name

He's bigger and better than anything else
I'm comforting by His shining love so clear

 In His arms at last
He's holding me through my fears

He guides me and holds me in love
 And wipes away my tears

I'm worth the world to Him
And He'll dance with me all day long

 Tango, Waltz, and Modern Ballet
While humming the melody to a wonderful song

He runs His fingers through my hair
And brings me roses every day

Red and pink and maybe blue
He takes my hand and we dance the night away

We twirl under the stars in the sky He created
 And bask under the moonlight

 He smiles at me-
 His eyes so bright

He leads me up onto His feet
 His Converse resting under mine

He points to the sky above
 To show me His design

 He holds me closer
And wraps His arms around my back

 We are glowing white
 Against the black

I rest my head against His chest
 And feel His heartbeat

His hands are intertwined with mine
And His words are so sweet

 He kisses my forehead
And moves a strand of hair out of my face

I curl up into His arms
And He holds me tightly in place

 He stares into my eyes
And a warm smile overtakes His face

 He hand touches my cheek
 As He whispers,

  "You're beautiful to Me.."
