Why me?

What did I do to deserve this?
Something this awful,
this extreme.
I had an extra cookie,
I forgot to do my laundry,
I lied about my age.
So what?
Does any of that make it okay,
for this to happen to me?
I failed a couple tests.
I lost a couple games.
I hurt people once or twice.
But why is this happening?
Why me?
People do worse.
They steal.
They kill.
They lie.
So why is it that I have to deal with this?
Why me?
