your eyes are kind,
Looking at me from the space between
As we stand
Something makes me want to kiss you.
My brain and mouth aren't connected
I say something I never meant to say.
I look down at my feet again.
We meet eyes and smile, weakly.
It makes me think.
Maybe my life and yours were meant to intertwine.

Day 3 of the poetry challenge. Use the first ten full words on pg.8 of any book. 8 is my lucky number so I had a feeling this would turn out well. I hope you like it.

This is short, lol. Usually I do not like short poetry, but you succeeded in making me a fan of it. You did a very good job. I like your choice of words. (:
