What Am I In Your Eyes?
“Hurt me , abuse me, shun me, hate me”,
Is that the invisible sign on my forehead says?
What is my pain worth to you?
Is my pain worth more than my joy?
I did nothing wrong but I guess I didn’t do anything right either, did I?
Do I mean nothing to you?
I lived most of life trying to be what you wanted but you never were happy with me, your little lump of clay.
My heart can’t handle this for much longer.
What do you want me to be?
Am I not good enough for you?
Am I a mistake to you?
If you think that I’m a mistake, well you might be right.
I don’t know who I am to you.
Can you tell me?
Am I an error, an abomination, a monster, or am I nothing at all but a non-existent spec staining your beautiful life?
Is everything I am disgusting to you?
Is everything about me, from my looks to my personality to the way I do things, just wrong?
If that’s the case, then everyone is just wrong.
Let me tell you something.
I am a person, not a toll doll or a little drawing or your little lump of clay.
I have feeling and emotions.
I hurt, love, feel, smile, laugh, and cry.
I’m just like you.
We are not that different from each other.
I wish you could see that.
