I’m such a thief.
My chapped lips
taste like stolen nicotine
I salivate coke and rum.
Hide all of the lies,
behind my glazed blue eyes.

The government is watching,
microphones in John Deer lawn mowers.
So I go seventy six
on Rosalia street’s runway.
I fly high like dragon chasers.
Escape a robotic fate.

Sing Christmas songs in October,
“Glohohoh- RE-ahh”.
Baby Dawndy’s out of tune.
A broken conductor
orchestrating her grand finale
crash landing.

Tequila sunrise,
disgusting sunsets,
I see them all.
I’m an insomniac.

My mind will flood,
I’m drowning
in a Rx Cocktail party.

Lithium,
Lamotrigine,
stabilize me.

Seroquel XR,
Adderall,
Abilify,
Ambien,
Tranqualize me.

Razor blades,
Jagger bombs,
Gabarone,
Euthanize me.

Unstoppable,
hear these thoughts race.
Invincible,
I look death in the face.
Unstable,
watch me shift and change.

I am a dying breed,
can hardly breathe.
Save me from this tragedy.
