THE RAIN
The rain falls upon my face
Gods tears shall, never be erased.
Each tear tells a story
A story of another’s sin
Some are just minor, nothing to worry about
Others are major, murder and adultery.
As each tear splatters the story un-folds
Details are the least that I worry about
It all happens right in front of me
As if I was there in person to see.
Little girls crying, men screaming
Blood dripping, the wind singing.
The sun glistening, the water flowing.
It’s all so magical yet horrifying.
