How I long to be free
Not bound to the earth
To go where I please
To soar through the sky
To spread my wings and fly
To forget all my pain and
depression
To see the light at the end of the
tunnel
But I can not
I have no wings
I have no freedom
I can’t get rid of my problems
With the snap of my fingers
So I’m just stuck
With my feet on the ground
With my head in the sky

Hm I like the meaning and theme behind this piece. You're getting closer to portraying strong emotions here. My suggestion for this piece specifically is to find a rhyme and meter and stick to it. And if you're not going to have one, then don't have one. Try to stick to one or the other so your work flows more.
