The Thing I Search For Dearly

I sit in the dark,
Only partially fulfilled,
I feel as if my heart
Is not completely thrilled.
I feel this coldness growing,
As if i am not ready,
Inside me is a feeling,
The feeling of being empty.
I look around me,
Hoping to find the thing,
That I have long been searching,
To satisfy my feeling.
The thing I search for dearly,
Reminds me of a dove,
The thing I search for dearly,
Is nothing but a love.

hey darkone just thought i'd look at some of your stuff... i think your good. Just read your poem... its sweet, and so are you. I would rate it 10 out of 5, because its really good.
