Looming on the horizon
But never in your grasp

A mountain insurmountable
A legendary pirate map

The edge of the universe
Where the ocean meets the sky

A leprechaun’s pot of gold
Santa riding through the sky

For those who dare to follow
A rainbow to its end

It’s a dream that all pursue
An unknown urge that naught will mend

We wish to drink from its clear stream
But we all wish in vain

For perfections a novel thing
That no one will ever gain
