I Couldn't
I couldn’t focus
I couldn’t walk
I couldn’t stand up
I couldn’t lie down
I couldn’t hear the noises around me
I couldn’t smell
I couldn’t taste
I couldn’t jump
I couldn’t run
I couldn’t write
I couldn’t draw, sketch, nor paint
I couldn’t speak
I couldn’t help daydreaming…
But most importantly,
I couldn’t feel warmer inside; I couldn’t be happier
And I couldn’t stop thinking of you
