Society Killed The Teen
She wants to smile
she longs for it.
craves for it even.
Tears, form
they cascade down her cheeks
When will the pain secede?
This ordeal of a thing,
This ordeal of a world
Why does it prey on the weak?
She wants to scream
Scream until her lungs bleed
Scream till someone sees.
Why cant anyone hear her screams?
Its as if shes in a crowded room
Screaming and no one hears.
Why can no one hear her?
Her breathing becomes panicked
Her heart is slowing
She inhales, and
Cant exhale,
Why can’t she exhale?
Then finally, the pain is gone.
She can finally smile.
Knowing society killed her….
