Daddy Dont Let Go
I was 6 years old when I got a big girls bike
It had no training wheels and no comfy seat
My dad and I went outside to practice
He set me on top of the bike and told me start
He covered my hands and told me to ride
He assured me everything will be alright
With his hands on the handle bars
 We rode around the house
After days I was ready to take on the neighborhood street
I rode on without the ground touching my feet
 Riding and gliding with glee
I felt at ease because my father was with me
He told me that I could ride on my own
I squeezed his hand and scream that it wasn’t true
I looked I him and said “daddy don’t let go”
He smile and let go without a sound
And I went falling face down onto ground
