I can’t capture you in poetry,
Your fiery speeches, words, kisses,
All are too faded to copy out.
I cannot draw you, even if I could,
You were anything but flat,
All bones, juts and spikes.
We were deeper than any ink I scribble,
People always are,
And emotion,
Is much too real for letters,
So I’ll try to dig deeper,
I
