the bright bolts of color
of the solos of the brave
So much passion stifled-
imagining a world; yet accused
of incompetence; the fear
A life of meetings-
the coming together
the tearing apart
The powerful silence of the sunrise-
The faint glimmer of the future-
The dripping sweetness of canned peaches
