Let It Rain
I opened the floodgates
Upon myself.
Oops.
As the water gushes
Into this container called
Life
I am trapped under the water.
Pieces of debris
Float around me:
They are a gargantuan collection
Of transgressions passed.
When the water's flow subsides,
I will be free,
But until then,
I continue to be trapped under
This corrupt rubbish.
Yesterday I told you
"This needs to stop."
Why can't I keep my mouth shut?
Sadly,
I miss our trespasses.
Help me get out of this state of mind.

Galatians 6:7-8
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
