A Thought on John 10

You can follow the thief,
and eat dirt all day,
But I heard the One Good Voice,
who led me to the way!
I am but a sheep,
My flock is penned at night,
In the morning you follow the thief,
But I hear and follow His light!
At dawn our shepherds lead us out,
Mine to eat our fill,
Though your shepherd is a lout,
Aims only to steal or kill.
As a fellow sheep I must say to you,
My shepherd is the One,
Who will give me my eternal life,
When the earthly one is done.
