You Are The One
It seems my life is going to change
Now everything has changed
Or do you not think that far ahead
Till the roof comes off
Till the lights go out
Because of how well you love me
I hurt myself to see if I still feel pain
When busy streets a mess with people
Who stop to hold their heads heavy
When they see we are so happy
At that point when I believe we are done
The skies don’t seem so blue
And the stars seem dimmer too,
Then I think about our younger years
And when I’m going to put on your golden ring,
I found it there in your heart what god can make
As I prepare for our moment of truth
When we say our final vows,
And I fall in love with him
All over again.
