Ocean Dweller
I walk in
Tsunami of faces and bodies
Swim over me, push me to the floor
Of the ocean.
I breathe in
Seawater and people's feet
Gasp for air, choke on sand
Finally breathe with breaking lungs
I am not an ocean dweller
I can't go back
But I must, so I do
To the storm I can never ride
Again
And
Again.
