The Dragon
And the great dragon fell from the heavens they say
From the sky to the earth and to where he now lay
He wallows in darkness and anger and fear
For the day when the angels again shall appear
He gnashes his teeth and spits evil things
The kingdom he leads is where darkness sings
And for he is not the greatest of all
In fact in comparison he is quite small
This outrages the beast to none the end
There he cries out and shall never make amends
And no pity or sorrow is spared him there
Only a few for the many who live with him there
In fire and ashes he will be defeated
And the destruction below will not be repeated
For no one is greater than from whom he was created
He was there before time was set and dated
