Greetings, my name is Lila. I am a fourteen years old girl. I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. A few days ago, i found your poem 'If I Were A Boy', and i thought it was brilliant. I read your poem and i could instantly relate to it. It is very inspirational. I could really understand where you are coming from. Honestly, the main point of the poem I think is what every girl in this world feels. They say boys is always the leader and they are the ones who are 'in charge'. That is why they act like they can control girls. Play them like toys, but honestly, what if boys and girls switch roles? What if the guys gets treated like how they usually treat us? Their heart will be broken. So, if I were a boy I would ofcourse treat them like my queens and the only girl in the world, and I would not dare to hurt her. Just like you said on the poem.
