And So the Lesser One Wins

The cruelest thing I ever did know,
Was of Karma being granted
Upon the wrong recipient.
Foul misery taking its toll
On the innocent ones,
In any case.
Why is then that all of our
Earthly blessings
Are placed with those,
Owning the darkest of intentions?
Rewards being given
To the sketchy figure to the left.
Punishments being spelled out
To the pleasant soul by the right.
Society has become so warped.
