Feminization
Beginning as a neutral, skin unwrinkled but
Oleaginous with the perspiration of a newborn
My antennae aren’t lanky enough to sense
What petals are virulent
I feel the beseech of metamorphosis
Waning my diet perhaps
My attempt of anemic couture
That was in last season
I swathe myself securely in the wrappings of
Beautification
Of chrysanthemum petals and evanesce of
The liquid of a rusting syringe
I wish to rip off every hair on my legs
Desire is the definition of flawless
But only if I can smooth out the wrinkles on
My thorax and abdomen
Only if I can expose my wings
That have yet to be made over the span
Of an evening of vanity
