Grains of Sand
Sinking
Feet planted further in the ground
So soft is the sand
The ends never been so sound
Fading
Melting
Drifting
Reality no longer touchable
Merely imaginable
Ficticious
Legs like tree trunks trapped in barren land
But so comforting is the feel of the malicious sand
Enveloping me as an entirety
Like an hour glass separating me from society
The time quickly slips away
A grain of sand for every second I stay and one for every mark of decay
Sinking, still I am
Into my plush death bed of sand
Suddenly, so quick, I am no longer here
Removed from the surface by the quicksand’s instilling fear
But struck is the sand by a spark of electricity cutting through air
Like a knife striking my sandy bed, my lair
Replacing what I was once to be lies a beautiful glass beautiful glass statue upon the surface of the beach
A memoir, the glossy remains of my death
M murder by grains of sand
