What Can be Seen?
Glowing green and red
 through snow
 blurry tail lights
 out my window.
 Swirling powder restlessly blows,
trying to pass on what it knows.
But people lock their shutters tight,
 banishing the knowledgeable night.
 They stand safe in thinking
 they are the only ones
 worth keeping.
