A rope tied end to end
But what about between
The bindings of that book
Or the threads tightly woven

So I will say goodbye
And travel on my way
To find that one special person
To me only a minute they will pay
To listen to my stories
Of the people no one knows
Except for those who listen
For those who care to know
But I will always remember
For if I don’t who will
Of that person who was forgotten
In that old abandoned mill…
