Joking
You,
 in sunshine yellow bow-tie,
bounced in constant laughter through the night.

The conversation was about bridge-jumping and someone asked just as a joke
 who really would
 and your hand jerked up

Just as a joke. You blinked your shining eyes and stared,
 And then you lowered it.
The smile stuck to your face like paint
 until the night ended.
