I am just a girl.
Like many others in the world,
But yet I am different.
They don’t see it.
Inside I am begging for someone to notice.
I still put on a brave face for the crowd.
I wonder how.
How do they see me?
Or don’t they care.
I just want to be free.
Free of all this despair.
I have hid for so long.
I hide from judgment ,
Because I am not strong.
I can’t handle there thoughts.
They will eat me inside and out.
I would take a chance if I wasn’t lost in doubt.

I like the idea about putting on a face especially when dealing with an innocent girl. Nonetheless tr flow of the poem could have been a little better in addition to te word chip ice. But overall nice poem!!!!

I love this poem. I related to it completely. It was so conflicting of itself, and I could feel your passion in it. I love the last line so much "I would take a chance if I wasn't lost in doubt". Completely sums up being a teenager for me. Beautiful job.
