She Sits Alone at Night
She sits alone at night
 Staring at the wall
The thought goes through her mind
 That this can't be all
 Her life is empty
 Dark and cold
 Being lonely sure gets old
That one mistake happened years ago
But to this day she can't let go
Of that look in his eyes
 The hour she said goodbye
 She listened to the voices
 Swirling all around her
 But ignored the one inside
 The one that really mattered
 When he walked away
 She realized what she'd done
 After that her life
 Seemed to lose its fun
And now she sits alone at night
 Staring at the wall
The thought sticks in her mind
 That this is all
