Ode to My Air Conditioner
Oh blessed giver of cool air
Let me count the ways I us thee
You send a nice breeze through my hair
And how tenderly you do caresses me
If taken away the heat I then could not bare
While others blister outside how happy we will be
Some say I love you too much but I do not care
Remember when I was young and was kept from thee
That was a dreadful nightmare
How I longed to hold your remote but I was too wee
It was simply not fair
But now I am older and you bring me so much glee
I am overjoyed at this love we share
Don’t you agree?
With you on the wall and me in my chair
Oh how great the love is between you and me
