Mistakes
All I'm left with
Besides the pain
Is the soft and gentle
Pitter-patter of the rain
Alone with my thoughts
Tears start to fall
I look at my past
Where did I lose it all?
Where did it all go wrong?
When did I lose my way?
The same questions
Run through my head each day
I've made so many mistakes
Many that I can't fix
I just pray that you'll forgive me
But the clocks still ticks

hey! beautiful poem!
it is true...bad mistakes can haunt you for life and make you feel unnecessary pain.
i like the flow of the poem. i also like the fact that you kept up the rhyme scheme without making the poem seem forced.
good job and keep writing! :D
