Just As Her
She is just as me
But as tears flow down her cheeks
Words flow out of my mouth
And I refuse to apologize for my emotions
She is heartbroken like me
But while her scarred heart is in disguise
I wear mine on my sleeve
So I can better tell the time
She is overwhelmed like me
But as she walks brusquely by
I linger in each moment
And dance slowly through the lies
My dear, your silence is your dignity
Your veil and your shroud
And while you will always be mysterious
I will always
Just be loud
