As Guns Gave Way To Honey
History today, it’s like riddles in the eyes
of an old dog still running under the fever
 of scorching summer skies
There were simple words spoken, they raised the
 dirt along the trail
We let our words be sweet as honey, we
knew the guns of war had failed
We put the arrow in the quiver, we held the
 bullet in our teeth
Forced our heads under His waters,
Just to find that we could breathe,
Just to find that we were free.
