The rubber grinding on
Every turn

Emptying my mind
Erasing my worries with
Every step

Hot blood twisting through my veins
Urging me to keep going in
Every part

Wanting to stop but
Still accomplishing
Every gasp
Every dream
Every hope
Every thought
Racing through my mind
