The Marred Daughter
I am but a noble oppressed damsel
Seeking the loveliest of the generation
Lusting over the vitality of life
Dreaming of the marvelous;
Justice—I humbly suggest
For my dignity been jabbed in ways unfathomable
Yet, I thank the stars, for my voyage remains still;
I desire liberation from malevolence esp. indifference from the Elders—
To utter the foulness of this existence
To exterminate common mankind
And live the jewels of the palace
Bequeathed upon me, a voice from God—the instrument of agency
Therefore, let me speak
Let me act, Let me go
Despise me not for I am whole
Yet slightly broken
Caused by worldly strangulation
Let me be me; I am human, a child of Paradise
Thou possess none of what I have.
