One Time for the Last Time
They told him that anything
 Would go, anyone would pass,
 You would only live once,
And cowards die a hundred times after that,
 It was a game
Before he figured out how to play
 It was a joke
Everyone laughing perfectly in sync with him
 Never mind their shoulders tensed
With the knowledge of their emptiness
Now the moment was calling to him
Only a fool would cop out
The first drag was his hook,
The next party drew him in,
Last night he didn’t come home
And now his mother is out looking for him
 What started out as fun
 Became meaningless dream slaughter
Live one time for the last time
And then, boy, please go Home.
