Don’t judge a book by its cover
You don't know till you open the box
People aren't born in wrapping
So why does that come as a shock?

Don't judge a book by its cover
But that's easier said than done
Most people don’t carry their blurbs around
And even then, to read it is wrong

Don’t judge a book by its cover
It’s not the cover you read, it’s the book
But how do you choose without judging
If you are only allowed one look?

Don’t judge a book by its cover
You know you shouldn’t, but it’s hard to stop
Because in the end people aren’t like books
And in a society of judges, why not?

Sometimes phrases become outdated. Can you honestly say you don't judge people by first impressions, when that's all you they've given you?
