Being Hannah
Hannah is someone rouge and strong willed
Powerful and yet gentle
Whimsical is she
Hannah giggles and sings as a bright blue jay
Her eyes sing as well
They tell her story
Her beautiful, but ragged story
Hannah calls to the boys and beckons them over
They always come to her
They always come
Hannah eternally smells of lilacs and rosewater
And forever flips her blond waves over her shoulders
Her presentation is perfect
Her inner is insatiable
Hannah never cracks like a porcelain doll, though her skin is the same shade
If she breaks, she does it silently
She shields it from the world’s eyes
Hannah hides things
Hannah moves on
I am not Hannah
I will never be Hannah
