I know what's running through your head
I know how it feels to feel the cruelness of an empty bed.
I know how much you said you loved him.
Believe me, I do, I've loved once too
I've had tears burn my eyes
At every burn, turn and compromise
I've been in your position and honey

You love everything about him
You love the warmth, the idea and
I know you love his fingers feeling the spaces
The fantasy of a white gown made of many laces
You love everything that comes with him
But honey
You don't love him

I poem I wrote for my best friend, my twin. She's dating a guy (again) who's only going to leave her in pain. In angst I wrote this, and it turned out better than I thought it would 0___0

Really nice ryhme scheme, it flows well and doesn't seem forced. Also, just a generally good topic. I think everyone has that one friend like yours.
