"Love as long as you live, and laugh as much as you breathe."

A fingertip’s length away
Glittering,
Mesmerizing,
Flawless.

In all of it’s glory,
A palace awaiting adventure,
A story to demand it’s presence,
A heroine to love and conquer.

A tug,
Sharp, snatch! Pulling and pushing
Now what once was remains a world away.

Calling it’s heroine, whispering through the reflection in her eyes.
Fighting reality,
Darkness,
A world of fear and pain.
Fighting to be stronger than her darkest enemy.

To lure her closer, with it’s beautiful melody.
Achieving the greatest conquest of all,
As a girl fights back.
The bravery in her eyes answering the whispers.
Her strength banishing the bruises and the tears,
As innocence holds out over darkness.

Her palace glistens as it’s heroine arrives home.
Into a world of all she ever dreamed, and all that she fought for.
The book closing, a story said to be ending.
The fairytale forever in her heart,
The end becoming the beginning.

This piece to me is really just an extension of what I imagine many girls dream about when they are little, but sometimes seem to forget as the years go by. The fairytales never fade, and sometimes when things are rough all we need to do is find that sparkling palace again to pull through.
