Where the Wind Goes When Your Wet Blades are Drawn
Umbrella you shiver and shake
once finished maintaining your defenses against the rain.
Indoors you’re forced closed with a rapid snap
as if you’re protecting someone
from the bad luck you carry in your fabric blades.
Every now and then
I catch a glimpse of your belly
as you embarrassingly try to let the wind pass by you.
Alas, most of the time people are not as fortunate,
most of the time the wind blows right through us.
