I've tried
Believe me I've tried
But nothing is good enough for you
Why are you pushing?
Why are you so sad?
Whats with all the pressure?
I'm just one kid
I can't handle it
I don't know where my life is going
I'm still figuring things out
Heartbreaks and strange feelings are weighing me down
You are the girl that can't take a compliment
you had so much potential
I'm hopeless and lost
You are not my guiding light
I want to give up but i can't
It takes everything left in my to carry on

I don't have roses in the closet, but i have pictures in a drawer, its everything left in me not to stare at them anymore

Wow awesome poem. You said it right- I'm just a kid, still figuring things out. Well said. I liked the way this poem was talking about being a kid and the struggles. It is all true.
