Courage
I find courage in my dreams,
I don't find courage in my screams.
An empty hallway with a bright light,
To stay alive is sometimes a fight.
Alone,
With a handful of tears,
A ghostly blackness made by my fears.
My courage is something of the past,
But I still try to make my last few days last.
Thinner and thinner I become,
I feel almost entirely numb.
Every scar has a story,
All of them are definitely gory.
And as I try to win this feat,
Its getting harder and harder to beat.
