Bitterness, a sweet goodbye

Bitterness
And the cold
chilling my bones
making me old
summoning my past
wrapping its dead fingers
round my hurting heart at last
just take me now
i dont know why i let u love me
or even how
but everyone dies
so just let me choose
when i have my last cry
when i can leave
all this pain behind
cold harsh bitterness
a sweet goodbye
leaving behind all of your lasting lies
walk the trail of forgotteness
with only dust and ashes at my sides.
