Baby Dreams
A sleeping babe,
Is precious.
More valuable,
Than any earthly thing.
Their baby dreams,
Are worth a lifetime,
Because,
They belong to a baby,
Who has a whole lifetime,
To fulfill them.
Each tiny, infantile feature,
Is pronounced,
While caught
By the nursery shadows,
In the cool evening,
When the fairies are roaming.
While the baby,
Has its tiny eyes closed,
A guardian angel watches,
Hidden from view,
Protecting new life,
Catching and returning,
Runaway dreams,
That rightfully belong,
To the sleeping babe.
