Wishing for Daily Things
I wish I was your phone, the thing that's always within your arms reach. The thing you check up on the most. I wish I was your phone.
I wish I was your reflection, the only earthly thing that is so close to perfection. I wish I was your reflection because although it changes it will always be yours.
I wish I was your jacket, the thing that you always wear. The thing thats smell is intoxicating, just like you.
I wish I was your pip, pressed against your lips, giving you that infinite high. Taking you higher than cloud nine, among the stars.
I wish I was the person that gives you the butterflies. The person that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
But I am the girl sitting on the sidelines wishing you would glance my way. Wishing I for maybe a second could catch your eye.
