Christmas Envy
I have seen envy destroy many families
A sister wants more than her brother
The children are jealous of each other
It’s too stressful for father and mother
Brothers are not brothers anymore
Daughters are not lovely anymore
Money, that’s all what matters in their world
The people want gifts, gifts galore
The Christmas intentions are all gone
People display their gifts to inflate their name
Envy is a silent death, gnawing the soul
What a shame, a shame, a shame…
