Floating among my
tranquil train of thoughts,
notes and melodies
assure my sanity.
The slow rhythmic beat
and sweet lyrics
change suddenly.
Pounding through
my once tranquil thoughts,
the bass grows
with raging intensity.
Screaming, harsh lyrics
and rapid notes
bash into me.
A black abyss replaces
the humble serenity.
My mind transforms
into void of
perilous terror.
