Escape
There’s a place no one else knows about
I go there sometimes when I need to escape reality
This place is filled only with blue skies and meadows
Overflowing with rainbows of flowers
That have any fragrance I desire
In the center of the meadow there’s a tall, large tree
That’s always the richest green and casts the coolest shade
There’s a forest to one side of the meadow
And mountains to the other
But the mountains aren’t cold
They’re the perfect temperature
Or whatever temperature I want them to be
There are tame wolves that visit me
And dogs and puppies that come around
Here there aren’t any diseases or illnesses
Everything is perfect
Because this is my imaginary world
My place of escape when the world becomes too much to take
