If I were blind,
what would I see?
Perhaps more,
than you or me?
If I were blind,
what would I see?
see past hate,
and bigotry?
If I were deaf,
what would I hear?
Hear your thoughts,
and secret fear?
If I were deaf,
what would I hear?
The voice of god,
inside my ear?
If I were mute,
what would I say?
The mysteries of life?
Who would hear them anyway?
If I were dead,
what would I feel?
And does it matter?
Is it real?
